Freaking out and would like to see progress
by: Anonymous

Would like to say first I was and am so thankful for this site.

I apologize ahead of time that I'm anxious about my son, but..
It's good to hear this post, as we are on the staged supplement packages for Autism. My son actually has not been officially diagnosed yet. We have an apt. in 2 mos. for him to be evaluated at a clinic.

He is 3-yrs-old, has great motor skills, can't speak very well at all. Definitely doesn't have sentences, has little eye contact, but now has more since starting him on these supplements and a GFCF, SCD diets after only a week.

I'm terrified he is going to get better and then regress. I so desperately want to see him talk and he is so frustrated, but he 'practices' now even more every day, taking his books and trying to say the words he knows. He has a great deal of difficulty with articulation.

The other main symptom is he'll scream. But it has HUGELY decreased in this past week. In fact, he does it probably 10% of what he used to.
Another thing - he won't eat. He only eats "veggie chips" and the veggie juices I sneak into his orange juice. Also he drinks rice milk and I give him vitamins and a Dr. Sears fatty acid supplement.

Finally - my question - Can anyone tell me of a child who came out of this and stayed out of it? In other words, what is the "likelihood" of my son speaking, and relating well in his life.

~Thanks for this site
Morgan
