Strontium

by Pepe Messel
(U.K.)

Having been diagnosed with Osteoporosis in 2002 I have been researching the best way to deal with it. My Doctor prescribed Fosomax, but I declined for the same reasons as you have explained in your article.

I have been told that Strontium is good, but also that those who have had radiotherapy should not take it. Is this the case? I had chemo and radio for breast cancer in 2001/2002.

I notice that Strontium is something you recommend in your article, but you do not mention what I have been told. Please could you clarify.

Thanks.

PEPE,
You need to wait about a month after radiation therapy before starting on Strontium. It is a useful supplement to add on, but is not as important as most of the other supplements suggested in this report.
