Prostate Cancer Survivor

by Milford A. Brougham, Jr.
(Smethport, Pa. 16749)

I had prostate cancer in 1995 so I was treated with Radiation treatment at the Roswell Cancer center in Buffalo, NY. I had to drive 200 miles a day for 44 trips to Buffalo for the radiation treatments.

My PSA stayed down for some 12 years then it became elevated so my Dr. treated me with the Chemo Hormone shots. The PSA level came down below one (1) but it now has come back to a level of 6.09 and I have to go back to my Doctor again.

As I understand that the shots are only to give me a few more years of life because it is not a cure.

If anyone has a better treatment for survival please let me know.

My name: Milford A. Brougham, Jr.
Age 75, email: mab54175@msn.com
