Our son's life with autism.

(watervliet, MI Berrien county)

Our son Ryan was diagnosed when he was 5 1/2 years of age. Dr. Tsai at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor Michigan. It was quite a shock, to get this news, you can't quite comprehend at first what they are saying to you, before going there a lady at the church down from our house told me he had autism, I said what? I had never heard of such a thing until she told me. Ryan will be 14 on Sept, 27 2010,. They are going to try a different oproach to his schooling this year, instead of keeping just with the regular school work, trying, to teach him to write better, & maybe read a little better. They will be teaching him job skills, I'm thinking this might be a better way to go he learns better with hands on learning, I'm thinking this is probably so with most children with autism. Thank you for letting me tell his story. I'm very interested in the different types of natural things you have available.
