I am so glad that this website exists!!! I have been ill for about 14yrs now and have had all manner of medical consultations to try and work out what has been wrong, including psychiatric visits to scans on my lungs to no avail!!! It has just been mentioned to me that my problems may be Lupus by a visiting Canadian skin consultant who has taken biopsies so I am actually waiting diagnosis but after reading all the info on lupus,a real load of things are now adding up.I am so scared. I have a 7yr old at home with me and I live alone and have felt ill for yrs with very little explanations from medical sources. I feel relief that I am not mad but so scared for the future.
**** The underlying cause of lupus and other autoimmune diseases is pathogens like viruses and mycoplasma. GetHealthyAgain has a couple of new and powerful pathogen fighters that also stimulate regeneration in the body. Azovin and Quanzor. If possible, use one of each for two months to knock out the pathogens.

Money! money! money! by: Anonymous
Why does one have to have a great deal of cash to partake of 'natural medecines and cures? Its the same for disabilities, everyone you deal with seems to think of a number and doubles it!
Anonymous, Unfortunately, it is a capitalist system that we live under right now. Someday, maybe we will all of us will do our work for free! For now, you can always try just one or two good supplements at a time which can make a big difference. Also, basic lifestyle changes can be very inexpensive. Going for a walk everyday is free! Enjoying your day, drinking clean water and breathing deeply while being appreciative for your life is FREE! Dropping unhealthy foods like soda and candy from your diet will save you money. So, start with the basics and you'll find you'll get happier and healthier. Good Luck!
**** We had heard of people beating lupus using high doses of MSM Powder. It is inexpensive. Work up to using about 20 grams a day.

Lichen Planus overlap by: Dave Cornwall UK
Thank you so much for the article on Lupus. I have just had an ANA blood test and this has proved positive for Lupus and now I am waiting to see a consultant Rheumatologist. Can anyone tell me about the bad side of steroids as I understand that the medics treat Lupus this way?
Dave, Steroids are anti-inflammatories. They are also very hard on the liver over time.
Steroids also cause weight gain, and do a good job of dissolving bones, so to speak. Plenty of other bad side effects too.
