DHEA and breathing exercise helped me
by: Anonymous

I have been suffering from Lupus since 9 years old with symptoms of fatigue and tiredness. In the last four years I started taking DHEA and have found that it has made a lot of difference. I don't feel fatigued that often. of course there are days when I feel battered but those days are few now. Personally I think walking and breathing exercise has helped me a lot.

i hate predisone
by: Anonymous

i understand were your coming from with the predisone i hate it to but if i dont take cycles of it i cant breath because i have pleurishy and percionditis and it makes me gain weight to but i noticed if i eat healthier and drink alot of water i feel less nausea and the intake of water makes me feel more full. The only advice i can give you is never stop researching for a better doctor, oh yah pool therapy helps the joints a little bit or a nice hot bath good luck things will get better.

about the taking prednisone
by: Michelle

When I was 20 years old, I found out that I had lupus. I even took the prednisone. It always made me really tired, nervous and I was always shaking. When the doctor slowly took me off of the prednisone, I started to eat more so I started to gain pounds. After I started gaining pounds, my blood pressure went up. Another pill I was then taking on top of the prednisone. As soon as the doctor was making me take only half of one pill of the prednisone I stopped taking it. When I did stop taking it, I lost some pounds and I felt just fine. I thought about going to see a different doctor. Maybe she should see a different doctor. I have heard that yoga is a good exercise maybe she can do that. I hope my experience can help you.
