Living with lupus while taking blood thinner Coumidin

I was told I had lupus 7 yrs ago. Not only that I have a mechanical heart valve and pacemaker. I take high dose of Coumidin and very limited on what I can take and eat. I have gotten it under control for the most part, but would love it if someone out there could give me a few more hints. I'm 55 yrs old and have 6 children and 16 Grandkids. So, it's really important that I stay around so I can see my Great Grandkids too.
