worried about what will happen to him
by: Mackie

I am also worried about what will happen to my son when I am gone. I was sitting here thinking that if parents got together and got a piece of land or a building and turned it into a place all the kids and adults could live and be happy and taken care of it would be a sadness taken off my shoulders. The gov. does not care where they go as long as its not in there frontroom. I worry that my son will end up living on the streets or worse dead. Because i am not here to look after him.if anyone has any ideas on this please share.

Thank you
a worried mom

life after school
by: Anonymous

As a Grandparent, I was wondering if any parents, grandparents were aware of problem of what to do when our children are out of the protective umbrella of school.? Who will take care of them, provide them a place to safely live with guidence, and not fear anything. I know i will not live to see my grandchildren move on, and my fear and concern with my daughter and son in law for what they can do.
right now i would think that the four of us could form some sort of plan, along w/others to start this program.
One thing is for sure and that is that our government doesn't want to help. they started to deny this problem, and now with this crisis at hand, the disabled are at the bottom of the list and in fact a target. What will happen to them? Remember the mental hospitals that housed vets, and othe people with disabilities. A law was pased that they had rights and could leave if they wanted. what a joke. It was simply a way to turn them out on the streets and not take care of them. We cannot let our children, children who are in a crisis and could very well be a plus for not only themselves but society. I would like to hear from any and all of you on this thought. I don't want to leave this earth, knowing that i didn't try to help them. Please, we must have infulential people out their, either who have children like ours and or can figure out what to do. Lets do it. I wish that i could come up with ideas to start it off, but right now i cannot, but i will not stop trying. thank you and lets not forget "prayer"
