GAVIN AND OWEN

by Leanne Suntjens
(eston saskatchewan canada)

Gavin is 8 years old and Owen is 6. I had 3 kids by the time I was 24.

Gavin was diagnosed at 3 years of age formally with autism, he stopped talking, potty training anything a typical 3 year old did, he did not.
Gavin was born with no heart beat, so the doctors concern was that. He did not and still does not gain the amount that is average, about 3 pounds a year. But until he was 5 it was more like a pound here, half a pound there...
Scary.

He hums to himself, plays with his hands and shadows...is very much into video games, thomas the train and water. He screams all the time, never hugs, kisses or even shows he cares about people period. Does not play with other people either.

Needless to say it is heart breaking to see your child show no emotion to humans (would love to see if it is just to people.)

Owen has PDD-NOS. He screams if people are to close, at noises and certain clothing. He does not learn at a typical rate either. He can count to 10, can not do his alphabet even with 3 years of schooling and therapy...

I am a very busy mom LOL.So if anyone has any helpful advise I am willing to listen.

Leanne,

Make sure their clothing is all natural. Synthetic clothing is quite upsetting to spectrum children. It blocks their energy flow, and energy tends to build up in them.

Detoxifying them is also important to do. For starters.
