Fighting Lupus the Natural Way

by Salli Camphouse
(Cameron Park, CA, USA)

I've had Lupus for about 15 years now. After finding out the medical way to handling this disease, I started studying the disease on my own. I may have a mild case, but this has worked for me and I have had very few flare ups. I'll keep this short. Basically, I eat only organic food and use natural, non toxic household cleaners as toxins reek havoc on your system. Secondly, if I'm around someone who is ill, I immediately start taking vitamin C by the handfuls (about 5000 mg/day) and take a product called Wellness Formula. This product has Echinacea in it which some doctors say you shouldn't take if you have Lupus. All I know is that it works for me. If I catch it fast enough, I never get the illness. Once I have it - it's too late and I stop the Wellness Formula. Taking the Wellness Formula after catching the illness (even the common cold) tends to make my symptoms worse. But I do continue with the vitamin C. Like I said, this is a very simple approach to the disease and it may not work for everyone. To me it was a common sense approach.
