lupus without symptoms
by: Anonymous

Over a year ago I went to my GP just to check if I have arthritis. After a few blood tests I was later refer to a doctor who told me that I have lupus disease which was a shock to me as I never heard about that and that is was more common in black caribbean people.

He asked me some question with regards of the symptoms if I am experiencing any of them. He was amazed when all the questions he asked was a No for me except for one which is that my mouth do get dry sometimes.
My question to him was 'why did my blood tests showed that I have lupus when I don't have any of the symptoms? His answer was that 'Its like a jig saw puzzle, that the puzzle is there but not the pieces. After two visits he took me of his list and said if I don't have the symptoms then he cannot treat me. I wonder why he didn't take a second blood test.
It is still back of my mind if any of the symptoms will someday occur?
