Bronchiotasis

by Carolyn
(Ardmore, OK)

I have had a chronic cough for about 5-6 years, maybe longer. I have tried everything. Started with an ent doctor, no allergens in the blood. Seen lung specialist. Had asthma test. No asthma. seen another lung specialists in O>C. cat scan done on my chest that revealed Broniotasis, maybe misspelled. In both lower lobes of lungs, and the very least amount. The doctor also stated there was a sound in one of my lungs that was not normal. They sent me home with no instructions. I still cough constantly and have a small cyst, 11/4 cm. In reading about this in the computer, it states this can turn into any serious lung disease. What is your thinking on this.

Any issue like this can turn into a serious condition. It is most likely, though, caused by an infection and that can be cleared up by using Respiratory Support in a nebulizer. Read about this on the Pneumonia report on this website. This works great for clearing up lung infections.
