Brandons struggle

My sons name is Brandon. he was a very brite baby when he was nine months old we had taken him in for his immunnization shots like any responsible parent does or so we thought. My wife and I felt so guilty because we helped hold him down when he got the shots. As we were leaving the office I was carrying our son when he became very quiet and went limp in my arms I asked the nurse what is wrong with my son she said he is just upset that he was given three shots. BS!!!. Ever since that day he was different. Very little eye contact and the words he was learning had disappeared. About a year later we had realized he was very different. My wife had taken him to Stewart school in Yankton SD to be evaluated they said he has Autism. My wife was heart broken. We enrolled him right away into the school because they say the sooner you start working with a child with autism but the problem is the school was not doing enough. We had a specialist come in from Vermillion SD after Brandon had been enrolled for two years we had been wasting our time. As soon we had heard that we became more demanding of the school at IEP meetings. That is when the school administrator became more difficult to work with, at one point they tried to get rid of him by talking us into a thirty day evaluation in Sturgis SD. They have done this to a different parent we know she did not know she was signing her parental rights away. I could go into more detail but I have to get back to work. Thanks Noah Schieffer
