I was diagnosed with severe osteo at age 49. I am talking about -4 plus T-scores. The worst is my left femoral neck at -5. I have been on Forteo for one year and have one year to go. I have been to the only osteo clinic in our area who specializes in this disorder and was told that with even two years (the max allowed for this drug) the optimum increase is 14%.

The fear of breaking a hip is almost overwelming at times.
