Bone Density

by June
(Australia)

I visited a Bone Densitometry Clinic run by a Professor over 20 years ago. Other than seeing a lot of charts filled in and given prescription for cheap calcium from a chemist and a bottle of Vitamin D which caused blurring in vision, I still have osteoporosis with a vit D rating of 93% - I take absolutely nothing but exercise and eat good food.

I do not believe in Fossamax and such osteoporitic medications .. two decades later my younger contemporaries absolutely don't believe in all that 'guff'. People want more natural aids that complement the Body's System...not chemically charged ingredients that alter or harm the System.

Every 'Body' is different and no one asks what health concerns have been in a family prior to ongoing treatment, it just is a case of 'take this'- give it a try - but no questions asked on predetermined issues which may affect a person more so than osteoporosis.

Family History should play a part before any such medications are given.
