Candida Albicans is a yeast which normally colonizes the gut. About 80% of the time, candida overgrowth occurs when a person is given a course of antibiotics (also found in non organic dairy and meat products)which kill not only the bad bacteria but also the friendly bacteria in the intestinal tract.
