I am a 42 year old female and have been suffering from Osteoporosis for years now. I have not had a single night of solid sleep since Dec, 2009 and we are now Sept, 2010 due to pain in hip going to knee cap. I have just had my final appointment at the pain clinic, basically saying other then trying Durolane (which is not covered by insurance group and is very expensive) or surgery there is bascially nothing more that can be done...I left in tears. I am 42 and and can honestly say this has taken over my life for many years. I remember on numerous occasions my daughter (now 16 yrs) saying mom you never do anything with me, or you are always in pain. She not understanding at the time, that yes I was in much pain and had no quality of life, nor do I now... I have been looking into the Durolane on the internet, and not encouraged but what I was reading, when I happened onto this site. Well I am going to give this treatment a try 1st as I am tired of taking this med or that one and not getting any better even the cortizone, did not help at all...I am hoping this will help, as I am not ready for a hip replacement...if you can provide me with anything you feel I should try please do so...Ann Bastarache New Brunswick Canada...
